Managing Director

As one of the founder partners of the Grichan Whitestone Partnership, Rob had, for quite some time, been asked by their long-term customers to service roles in the mid-market space – Whitestone Resourcing is the vehicle that will address this need.

Rob’s role as MD will be to support Adam in growing the business from both a strategic and operational persecutive, alongside his role at GWP, where he leads on the Interim Management and Business Consulting functions.

Prior to founding GWP, Rob was a director at one of the UK’s leading Interim Service Providers, leading their Infrastructure, Business and Support Services practice and has featured in the IIM’s top 20 Consultants.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Rob’s skillset lies in developing strong relationships through his consultative, straight talking approach delivering solutions-focussed recruitment solutions.

With a stellar network of experienced executives, turnaround specialist and business consultants Rob has a genuine passion for the sector and is well placed to offer a full suite of executive recruitment solutions.

Rob lives in Yorkshire, with his wife, two children and Labrador. Outside of work, he’s an enthusiastic but very mediocre golfer and (very) occasional cyclist.

Principal Consultant

Ben brings 13 years of recruitment experience across diverse sectors, having worked for two top firms in their specialisms. At Michael Page, he spent 5 years managing public and private sector campaigns, focusing on technology and change roles for UK Government, NFP/P4P, and broader public sector clients. His work spanned mid- to director-level roles, including retained search and large-scale campaigns.
Before that, Ben spent over 8 years with Berkeley Scott Hospitality, recruiting everything from chefs and catering managers to senior executives across data research firms, contract catering, events, restaurants, and hotels in the UK and offshore. Both roles involved direct line and matrix management, with a strong track record in placing niche roles in politically complex environments.
His career followed decades in hospitality, from bartending to senior GM roles in branded and independent venues. Known for his consultative, honest, and approachable style, Ben delivers exceptional candidate experiences and helps clients avoid recruitment pitfalls. Many clients become candidates and vice versa.
Outside work, Ben is a devoted family man, owns too many guitars he plays badly, and redeems himself with impressive cooking skills.

Associate Director

With over 14 years of experience in recruitment within the built environment sector, Adam brings deep expertise in connecting top talent with leading organizations across the UK. Before stepping into his role as Associate Director, he spent nearly five years as a Principal Consultant with construction sector specialist AndersElite, following five successful years with global recruitment firm Michael Page.

Adam specializes in placing professionals from Engineer to Director level across contractors, consultancies, service providers, and public sector bodies. His approach is rooted in honesty, approachability, and discretion, ensuring a consultative experience that fosters lasting relationships.

Outside of work, Adam dedicates his time to family life with his wife and their two energetic young sons. When he’s not enjoying quality time with them, he stays active through fitness, sports, and exploring new destinations whenever possible.

Business Manager

With a diverse background spanning senior administrative roles across SMEs in industries such as charity and interior design, as well as several years in Talent Acquisition, Kate brings a wealth of expertise in systems and process improvement, business support, and social media content. Her ability to streamline operations and enhance efficiency makes her an invaluable asset to the team.

Known for her collaborative mindset and versatility, Kate thrives in both independent work and fast-paced team environments. She effortlessly juggles the varied demands of the company with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach—always ready to tackle challenges with a ‘let’s get things done’ attitude.

Outside of work, Kate keeps busy balancing family life with HIIT workouts, trips to the Lake District, and her undeniable obsession with The Traitors. She is driven by continuous learning, a passion for getting things right, and—most importantly—copious amounts of coffee
